Common questions.

What comes free?

Original, Sleep Club, Weekend Wanderer, Pocket Player, click reactions, drag placement, a countdown, one-time reminders, quiet mode, and optional break nudges in the Mac app. The matching phone wallpapers are also free.

What works on my phone?

The phone downloads are static wallpapers for your lock screen and home screen. You can preview Zomumu in your browser. An Android app preview is also available. iOS app distribution is still being prepared.

Does the desktop pet need the internet?

The pet, free themes, imported themes, and reminders work locally. Getting the app, buying themes, and restoring purchases need the internet. No AI model API is needed.

Does it watch my screen?

Zomumu does not capture screen content or read your files, clipboard, or typing. To hide in full-screen apps, it checks only the foreground window's size and position; this information is not saved or sent. Reminder text stays on your computer.

How do I add a theme?

Download the .zmmtheme file, open the wardrobe in Zomumu, and choose Import theme. Switch back to Original whenever you like.

Which computers are supported?

The Mac release supports Apple silicon and Intel on macOS 13 or later. Signed Mac downloads are available. Windows and Android previews are available separately; their physical-device acceptance is pending.

Can I make Zomumu smaller?

Yes. Double-click Zomumu to open the wardrobe, then choose Smaller (120), Default (144), or Larger (168) under Size. Your choice and desktop position are saved. The previous default 168 changes to 144; other saved sizes are preserved.

What if an outfit will not import?

Keep the downloaded file as .zmmtheme; do not unzip or rename it. Try downloading it again from My Zomumu. If it still fails, contact support with your app version and the error message. Your current outfit stays in place when an import is rejected.

When do reminders run?

Reminders need the desktop app running. Hiding the character keeps the app running; quitting stops reminders. They are not an alarm or emergency service.
